Shoutbox
« on: February 28, 2017, 05:26:30 AM »
Hello, why not add an shoutbox/ live chatt to the website homepage. And maybe a "like" mod so that users can like posts
This is a good shoutbox for sites running SMF.  https://www.smfpacks.com/shoutboxmod/

Note it's not free 29.99$ for shoutbox with removed copyright

//Btw, who is in charge of website? =)

Lots of changes are coming shortly (working on quite a bit of things.)
Also, the shoutbox we have is based on the same code as the one you posted just modified for our use.
I have looked into some like mods, but I haven't found the right one yet but it is on my list along with a lot of other things.

Installed a "Like" mod, currently under testing. The icon only appears for one of the themes we currently have, but I will be fixing that in the near future.

About the shoutbox. We have tried a few (including the one you mentioned, I still have it as an uninstalled package on the backend of the server) and this is the only one that isn't a resource hog and displays nicely.
